Canterbury & Hedges (trading name, operated by Richard Lim, Canterbury CT1) takes data seriously. This page is the short version.

What we collect

• If you contact us (email, phone, WhatsApp, form): your name, contact details, postcode, and whatever you tell us about the hedge. We use this to quote and deliver the job.
• If you visit the site: standard analytics — page views, approximate location, device type. We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) for this. No cookies are set for advertising or remarketing; we don't sell ads.

What we don't do

• We don't share your information with third parties for marketing.
• We don't add you to any mailing list without you asking.
• We don't keep enquiry data longer than needed — typically 12 months after the job, then deleted.

Form submissions

The contact form is processed by Formspree, which forwards the message to our hello@ inbox. Formspree's own privacy policy is at formspree.io/legal/privacy-policy/.

Analytics

Google Analytics records anonymised visit data. You can opt out via your browser's Do Not Track setting or by installing Google's GA4 opt-out browser add-on.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can ask us to: confirm what data we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or stop processing it. Email hello@canterburyhedges.co.uk for any of those.

Cookies

The site sets a small number of cookies: GA4 for analytics, and any functional cookies set by Formspree on the contact form. No advertising cookies.
